Prayers for the Congregation

You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows. Job 22:27

The Intercessory Prayer team has existed at CCC since our beginnings 37 years ago, in one form or another.  They are a group with a heart for prayer and spiritual gift to pray for others within the quietness of their own prayer time. Recently, the group has expanded to include Pastor Jonathan and the Elders with the inspiration to cover the entire congregation in prayer regularly.

Each CCC family has been named to an Intercessor who is committed to pray for the family members during the week. The Intercessors will also pray for our employees, our leadership, our tenants, our church’s ministries and missions. If you feel called to join the Intercessory Prayer team, please contact Pastor Jonathan or an Elder.

Daily at 1:25pm, members of the congregation are invited to recite the Breakthrough Prayer, wherever you are, with other CCC members and family. Why 1:25pm? It is 13:250 military time; 13250 is our church address, an easy time to remember and a breakthrough connection to our church family.

We meet for confidential prayer sessions on Tuesday evenings (currently via ZOOM).  Look for additional meeting information in This Week at CCC.

God of perfect love, power and justice, we put our complete trust in You. Break through our limitations, our failures, and our fears to show us Your Way.

We lift up Christ’s Community Moravian Church. Open the doors to new vision and vitality for ministry and give us the courage to step through those doors.

Use us to love others as you love them, to encourage them to follow Jesus, that we would be instruments of Your Kingdom.

Break through our lives and into Your Church. AMEN.

In August 1727 at the church in Herrnhut Germany, 28 men and women committed to join in prayer for 1 hour each day praying around the clock, 24 hours, seven days a week. This prayer watch continued for more than 100 years. The Unity Prayer Watch was established in 1957 to continue the tradition of prayer 24/7/365. Every minute of every day a Moravian somewhere around the world is praying for the ministry of the Moravian Church.

Christ’s Community Moravian Church will be assigned time slots for December 2021.  Look for additional information in November’s This Week at CCC and on our website.
