Lord of mercy, grace, and Spirit of unending hope. Lord, we confess our weariness, our missteps, and our loss of vision. We confess where pride has replaced humility, where comfort hindered our purpose, and where tradition has overshadowed truth. Forgive us for where we have clung to the past and lost sight of Your direction for us now.
Thank you, Lord, for Your faithfulness to us during these times. Thank you for keeping this house of worship, and for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us, your children. It is only through Your grace that we have been able to continue on over the years.
May we listen closely now for Your voice and not our own. We ask You for strength and knowledge of Your will, and the willing obedience to rebuild Your church. Help us to honor what You have done here as we entrust the future to Your hands. Christ, our cornerstone, we sit at your feet and ask that You remain with us. Be our guide, our peace, and our hope.
